ATTORNEYS

Susanne Stolzenberg has extensive experience handling divorces, child custody matters, and pre- and postmarital agreements. She is known for showing compassion for her clients while diligently advocating on their behalf. Susanne is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She is a member of the California Bar and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the San Francisco Bar Association’s Family Law Section. As a volunteer attorney for the Justice and Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco, Susanne represents low-income clients in family law and consumer law matters. She received the 2018 James P. Prevolos Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Services in Family Law of the San Francisco Bar Association and an Outstanding Volunteer Service Award in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 for her pro bono work.

Susanne is a graduate of the U.C. Berkeley School of Law. In law school, she was a member of the California Law Review and a managing editor of the Berkeley Journal of International Law. She also worked as a legal extern for Judge John T. Noonan of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Stolzenberg worked as a book editor. She is passionate about libraries and serves as a board member of the Friends of the Jewish Community Library.
